Panel Coordinator

Capital City Comic Con is looking for a Panel Coordinator on a short contract for our third annual event March 20-22, 2020. This role will handle the coordination leading up to and during the event weekend, leading a dedicated group of volunteers. As the primary point of contact for the panels, you will primarily coordinate with the panelist, vendors such as A/V and venue staff, and convention or society directors.

Our ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, has successfully worked on events with 500+ attendees, and has a great deal of self-sufficiency in accomplishing their duties. This role is responsible for the management and placement of Front of House volunteers to ensure smooth operations of scheduled events through the Capital City Comic Con, including Cosplay Contest. This role ensures Front of House policies, the Code of Conduct, and Support Services Guidelines are upheld.

Exhibitor Coordinator

Capital City Comic Con is looking for an Exhibitor Coordinator Assistant on a short contract for our third annual event March 20-22, 2020. This role will handle the coordination leading up to and during the event weekend, leading a dedicated group of volunteers and working with exhibitors. As a point of contact for the exhibitors, you will primarily coordinate with the exhibitor manager, vendors such as Display Services providers, venue staff, and convention or society directors.

Our ideal candidate has experience with exhibitor management, has successfully worked on events with 500+ attendees, and has a great deal of self-sufficiency in accomplishing their duties. This role is responsible for the management and placement of Exhibitor volunteers to ensure smooth operation for Capital City Comic Con and its exhibitors. This role ensures Exhibitor Terms and Conditions, the Code of Conduct, and Weapons Policy are upheld.
