Media Accreditation

Thank you for your interest in covering Capital City Comic Con! Media applications for 2020 will launch soon.

Important Guidelines For Applying

1. Please note, Capital City Comic Con reserves the right to refuse media accreditation at any point before or during the show. Your media pass is representative of your media accreditation and does not grant you expressed rights or privilege to access guests or any particular area, venue or event. Violation of the following rules rules can lead to immediate revocation of your media pass and expulsion from the VCC. Your pass is non-transferable, is the property of Capital City Comic Con and must be surrendered to staff or representative upon request.

2. Media passes will be issued only to working journalists reporting on Capital City Comic Con. Our media passes are NOT All Access. They do not allow for early entry, or auto-entrance into VIP areas. They do not provide you guaranteed access to panels or ticketed events. We do our best to get our media friends into panels, but capacity and panelist restrictions change with every guest. Ticketed event access must be pre-arranged for each event. Any special requests must be made in advance.

3. You must obtain explicit permission from Capital City Comic Con for any filming or recording that is intended for commercial purposes.

4. The recording of full panels is not allowed. In some cases, press pits may be available for photos and video for the first 3 minutes only. Capital City Comic Con staff will notify you if this is the case and will notify you to take your seats following the first 3 minutes.
